SC Villa attacker Patrick Jonah Kakande walked away with three accolades at the Pilsner Uganda Premier league awards of the season that were held on Saturday at Sheraton Hotel in Kampala.
Kakande who scored 9 league goals and five assists as SC Villa clinched a record extending 17th league title last season.
The youngster was named the Pilsner Player of the season, Young Player of the season, Players’ Player of season and was also named in the best eleven of the 2023/24 season.
SC Villa head coach Dusan Stojanovic was the coach of the season while Kakande’s teammate Ronald Ssekiganda scooped the Midfielder of the season accolade.
Yunus Sentamu’s goal against Wakiso Giants at Kitende was the goal of the season.
Denis Omedi scooped the coaches’ Player of the season, the Kitara FC forward scored 15 goals.
Kitara FC’s goalkeeper Chrispus Kusiima was the Goalkeeper of the season while Thomas Ikarah was the custodian with most clean sheets (15 clean sheets).
Vipers SC were the Fair Play team of the season after finishing the season with 33 yellow cards and one red card.
