UPDF FC defeated Busoga United FC 2-0 at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru to secure their first victory of the season.
Christopher Tebandeke and Faridi Rashid scored in each half as the Army side walked away with the three points.
Despite defeat, Busoga are above UPDF FC, they are in the ninth position with seven points from six games.
Busoga will visit Soltilo Bright Stars next on Friday 10th November at Kavumba Recreation grounds.
UPDF FC came in this fixture with only two points they had lost three and drawn twice from the five games they had so far played.
The Bombo based side are now in twelveth position with five points from the same number of games.
The Army side will host table leaders BUL FC on Thursday 9th November at Bombo Barracks Grounds.
