Ronald Otti snubs URA FC for Kitara FC

BUL FC defender Ronald Otti has completed a move to Stanbic Uganda Cup champions Kitara FC.

Otti was expected to join URA FC but Kitara tabled a better offer for the former BUL FC defender.

SC Villa were also interested in Otti’s signature this transfer window.

He joins Kitara FC as a free agent on a one year employment contract following expiration of his contract at BUL FC.

The newly crowned Pilsner Uganda Premier league defender of the season will help boost Kitara FC’s defence in the league and CAF Confederation Cup next season.

Last season, Otti played 20 league games for BUL FC scoring once and also managed one assist as they finished second on the table with 56 points.

Before joining, BUL FC Otti spent three and half years at Mbarara city having joined them in January of 2019 from lower division side Nangabo Green Valley Football club.

Kitara FC finished fourth on their return to the Uganda Premier league with 54 points and amso clinched the Stanbic Uganda Cup trophy after a 1-0 win over NEC FC in the final that was held at Muteesa II Stadium in May.
