Maroons FC striker Fred Amaku has agreed terms with Stanbic Uganda Cup winners Kitara FC.

Amaku will join Kitara on a one year deal as a free agent following expiration of his employment contract at Maroons FC.

Amaku to join Kitara FC

Amaku was Maroons’ top scorer last season with 12 league goals. He joined the club from Busoga United (Formerly Kirinya Jinja SS).

Kitara have already completed the signing of BUL FC defender Ronald Otti who joined on a year employment contract.

Last season, Kitara finished fourth on the Uganda Premier league table with 54 points and also clinched the Stanbic Uganda Cup trophy after their victory over NEC FC in the final that was held at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

Kitara’s Stanbic Uganda Cup triumph earned them the honours to represent Uganda at next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
