Goalkeeper Farouk Yawe is one of the players on their way out at reigning Uganda Cup winners Kitara FC.

Swift Sports understands Yawe’s two years employment contract with the Hoima based side has expired and the Royals are reluctant for a possible renewal.

Yawe has been limited to playing time due to stiff competition from Chrispus Kusiima and Jamil Kiyemba.

In the recently concluded season he featured in only two games against BUL in Njeru and Express at Masindi and named man of the match.

He has previously played for Luweero United a side he guided to the FUFA Big League in 2020.

In the prestigious Buganda Masaza Cup tournament Yawe featured for Buddu and Bulemeezi.

Kitara FC have so far confirmed the signing of defender Ronald Otti and midfielder David Ndihabwe from BUL FC and Maroons FC respectively.

Defender Benjamin Nyakoojo and Jude Ssemugabi have been awarded with new employment contracts.
