Abraham Tusubira joins another UPL side

Maroons FC midfielder Abraham Tusubira has completed a move to Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC).

Tusubira joins the tax collectors as a free agent following expiration of his employment contract at Maroons FC.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Tusubira has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the Alex Isabirye Musongola coached side.

Last season, Tusubira registered the most assists in the league (10 assists) and was named in the team of the season.

He was beaten to the midfielder of the season accolade at the end of the season awards by SC Villa Ronald Ssekiganda.

Tusubira joins the long list of players that have left Maroons FC this transfer window to join other Uganda Premier league sides, these are Patrick Bayiga (NEC FC), Jacob Okao (NEC FC), Hannington Ssebwalunyo (NEC FC), Fred Amaku (Kitara FC), Isaac Mpagi (SC Villa), David Ndihabwe (Kitara FC).

The Revenue collectors have also agreed terms with Kiyinda Boys midfielder Amuli Mukasa while Eric Ssenjobe, Najib Fesali, Viane Ssekajugo and Ibrahim Dada have left the club.
