The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will conduct the Preliminary round of both the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup on Thursday, 11th July.
The draw will be held at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa are Uganda’s representatives in the CAF Champions League and will learn their opponents in Thursday’s draw.
The CAF Champions League Preliminary stage will comprise of 59 clubs from 47 African countries.
Uganda Cup winners Kitara who will be representing the nation on the continental for the first time in their history will also know their preliminary opponents for the CAF Confederation Cup on the same day.
The Confederation Cup will have 52 clubs representing 41 countries on the African continent.
Egyptian Giants Al Ahly SC are the reigning CAF Champions League champions after their record extending 12th triumph last season while Zamalek clinched the CAF Confederation Cup last term.
