Former Vipers SC forward Joseph Janjali is close to a return to Uganda Premier league side UPDF FC.
Janjali is currently a free agent following expiration of his employment contract at Rwanda Premier league side Espoir FC.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Janjali is close to reaching an agreement with his former paymasters UPDF FC.
He is expected to put pen to paper on a one year deal with the Bombo side.
Janjali has previously featured for Vipers SC, UPDF FC and Soltilo Bright Stars.
The club has already lost defender Bright Vuni who joined URA FC while Oyirwoth Daglas, Adriko Rogers, Nsimbe Jibril Badru, Kabuye Bashir, Reagan Kasumba, Kawooya Edward, Kintu Sam,Muwadda Mawejje, Robert Eseru,Ronald Owinyi Ogenga, Samson Kasozi, Kaija Derrick and Shugai Kaliisa are the other players on the exit door at UPDF FC.
The army side survived relegation on the final day of last season, finishing 13th on the Uganda Premier league table with 27 points.
