Sinan Rajub SENOGA
URA FC 1-0 UPDF FC
Viane Ssekajugo scored the lone goal as URA FC compiled more misery on UPDF FC in a game played at Lugazi.
In a game with little to write home about, Ssekajugo, arguably the shortest man in the box, stood out to be counted in the 62nd minute.
Ssekajugo headed home perfectly from a well delivered corner kick by Laban Tibita and ultimately won all three points for the David Obua coached side.
This is the first time Uganda has won two consecutive games this season having won their previous game with a similar scoreline against Gaddafi FC last week.
UPDF on the other hand have lost their most recent six league games.
The army men are now winless in their last 10 league games.
They sit second from the bottom with only nine points from the 17 games they have played so far.
URA are now 6th with 27 points from 17 games. Obua’s men are now seven points behind table leaders BUL FC who will play against Soltilo Bright Stars tomorrow.
URA will visit Wakiso Giants next week on Tuesday while UPDF will host NEC FC on the same day.
