Four time Uganda Premier league champions URA FC have confirmed Nakivubo Stadium as their home for the 2024/25 season.
The development will see the tax collectors return to the venue for the first time since 2011.
In 2011, URA FC won the Uganda Premier league title with Nakivubo as their home ground.
Nakivubo has not hosted a league game since it was closed in 2016 for its renovation that was done by businessman Hajji Hamis Kiggundu and was reopened on 1st June, this year.
Ironically, URA FC were the first team to cruise to victory at the newly refurbished Nakivubo when they beat Kitara FC 3-0 during the grand opening day.

Last season, URA FC hosted most of their home matches at Metha Stadium in Lugazi but also played some of their home matches at Muteesa II Stadium and Kabaka Kyabaggu.
URA FC join seven time Uganda Premier league champions Express FC to host next season’s league matches at Nakivubo.
The tax collectors will be under the stewardship of Alex Isabirye Musongola next season and have signed Abraham Tusubira Kakensa, Bright Joseph Vuni, Derrick Ochan, Abdul Magada, Ibrahim Kazindula among others.
