Muhammad Shaban has confirmed his KCCA FC departure following expiration of his employment contract at the club.
Shaban who was the Uganda Premier league top scorer last season with 17 goals thanked KCCA FC management, teammates and fans in a statement on his social media platforms.
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce my departure from this incredible club after two unforgettable seasons. The memories made, victories celebrated, and bonds formed will forever hold a special place in my heart. I am grateful for the unwavering support, passion, and dedication shown by each and every one of you.” Shaban noted before adding,
“As I embark on a new chapter in my career, I want to express my sincerest gratitude to the fans who have stood by me through thick and thin. Your cheers, chants, and unwavering support have motivated me to give my all on the field.”
Although my time at The club may be coming to an end, I promise to keep you informed of my next move. Your continued support means the world to me, and I look forward to sharing the next step of this journey with you.”

This website earlier confirmed that Shaban will be leaving the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions after failing to agree terms with the club over a contract extension.
Tanzanian Giants Young Africans and Kenyan Giants Gor Mahia are both interested in his signature.
He has previously featured for Onduparaka FC, KCCA FC, Raja Casablanca and Vipers SC.
