Kitara to host CAF Confederation Cup games at Namboole

Kitara FC will host their CAF Confederation Cup games at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole.

The development was confirmed by the club President Deo Kasozi on Friday.

”We are going to use Mandela National stadium, Namboole to host our CAF Confederations Cup matches which start next month. We have already agreed with the parties concerned and everything is in place for us use the newly refurbished facility.”

” The upcoming FUFA Super 8 competition will be essential in our preparations for continental football and we hope to give it our best.” Said Kasozi as quoted by the club website

Kitara FC will represent Uganda at the 2024/25 CAF Confederation Cup following their Stanbic Uganda Cup triumph last season.

They will face off with a yet named Libyan team in the first Preliminary round of the competition between 16-18 August.
