Uganda Cubs head coach Brian Ssenyondo has named the final squad that will feature at the U-17 FIFA World Cup in Qatar next month.
Ssenyondo’s final 21-man squad has three goalkeepers, five defenders, seven midfielders and six forwards.
The team has been having training sessions in Dubai where they had three build up games, drawing against Venezuela and Panama before losing to Paraguay.
Before the trip to Dubai, Ssenyondo’s charges played friendly games against KCCA FC and Amus College during their camp in Uganda.
Uganda Cubs is in Group K against Canada, Chile and France. They will kickoff their historic World Cup against Canada on November, 5th 2025.
