Centenary Bank were crowned champions of the eighth edition of the Rotary 5-a-side Football Tournament Corporate Category after edging Letshego Microfinance 2-1 in a thrilling final on Saturday at the KCCA Philip Omondi Stadium.
In the Rotary category, it was Rotary Club of Nakasero Central that claimed the winner’s trophy after beating Rotary Club of Kampala Ssese Islands 2-0 in the final.
While Rotaract Club of Kololo beat Rotaract Club of Bweyogerere Namboole 4-0 to win the Rotaract category.
A total of 96 teams were drawn to play in the annual one-day tournament that is organized by the Rotary Club of Kiwatule to raise funds for Rotary Community Service projects.
