New league entrants Lugazi FC have completed the signing of offensive midfielder Ian Amanya on a two year contract.
Amanya joins the Sadick Sempigi coached side from FUFA Big League club Kaaro Karungi FC.
Amanya has been one of the most sought after offensive midfielders in the transfer market having scored eight goals in the Big League last season.
He previously played for KL United Namasuba, Spartans Academy and Kazo FC before joining Kaaro Karungi.
He is Lugazi’s sixth signing in the current window following Denis Lubowa, Yusuf Saaka Sharif, Rogers Adriko, Nelson Mandela and Emmanuel Obua.
Gift Mohamed Lubega, Richard Ayiko, Wasswa Paul and Derrick Mwanje have signed new contracts with the club.
