John Ayala Luyinda leaves Wakiso Giants’ coaching job

Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants have confirmed parting ways with head coach John Luyinda Ayala.

Luyinda joined Wakiso Giants in 2022 after signing an employment contract of two years which has come to an end.

The Purple Sharks have appreciated Luyinda’s contribution and wished him the very best in his future endeavors,

” It is with mixed emotions that we bid farewell to Luyinda John, who has been an exemplary head coach for Wakiso Giants over the past two years. His dedication, leadership, and passion have greatly contributed to the club’s growth and success.”

Ayala as a footballer played for Kampala United, SC Villa and KCCA.

He worked as assistant Head coach to Abdullah Mubiru at KCCA FC and Police FC.

At Wakiso Giants, he will be replaced by former Uganda Cranes players Steven Bengo who will be assisted by Tonny Mawejje.
