Newly promoted UPL side Lugazi FC will face off with Kenyan side Tusker FC at Lugazi FC Stadium.
The game will be played on Saturday August 10th and it will be the club’s first practice match in their preparations for their UPL debut season.
The development was confirmed on the club’s official social media platforms,
“Tusker FC will be Lugazi FC’s opponents on Saturday 10th August, when the two clubs go head to head in our first practise match of the pre-season as we prepare life in the Uganda Premier League.”
Lugazi FC will be under the stewardship of Sadick Sempigi who was previously unveiled and will be assisted by Oliver Mbekeka.
They have so far confirmed the signing of Denis Lubowa, Yusuf Ssaka, Emmanuel Obua, Nelson Mandela and Rodgers Adriko.
Richard Ayiko, Derrick Mwanje and Wasswa Paul were awarded with new contracts while defender Kabugo officially left the club.
Lugazi FC was promoted to the Uganda Premier League last season after finishing third in the FUFA Big League
