Left back Ibrahim Juma has returned to KCCA FC after his loan spell at Spanish second division side CD Leganes.
Juma spent the whole of last season on loan at the Spanish side and now returns to KCCA FC to boost their left back position.
Following the departure of Mustafa Kizza and the imminent exit of Herbert Achai, Juma will battle with Isa Mubiru for a starting place at KCCA FC.
The former U17 Uganda National Men’s team captain’s loan move has a purchase option when the loan period expires.
Juma joined KCCA FC academy in 2017 and was fully promoted to the senior team in 2021.
He represented Uganda in U17 AFCON 2019, and also won the CECAFA U17 Title twice in 2019 and 2020.
Juma was the captain when the U17 Uganda National Men’s team won the CECAFA in 2020 in Kigali, Rwanda and the vice captain of the U20 Uganda National Men’s team that won CECAFA U20 in Sudan, 2022.
He was also the skipper of the KCCA FC U20 side that won the Cambiasso and Rainbow International Tournament in Dar Salaam in 2022.
KCCA FC will face off with Kitara FC in the two legged quarterfinal of the FUFA Super 8, with the first leg slated for 3rd August at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
