The first round of the 2024 Buganda Masaza Cup tournament climaxed over the weekend with match day five at various playgrounds.
In Muganzirwaza group, Kyaggwe returned to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 win over Kooki, thanks to a Ivan Kalyowa penalty.
Still in the same group, Buwekula registered their first victory on the road this term with a 1-0 away to Gomba with Sharafah Mukiibi scoring the all important goal.
Mawogola and Ssingo played out to a goalless stalemate.
In Bulange Group, Buddu returned to winning ways with a slim 1-0 win over holders with captain Pius Ssebulime scoring the solitary goal.
Buluuli continued to impress with a 1-0 victory away to Bugerere, courtesy of Robert Ssewanyana goal.
Butambala and Kyaddondo played out to a goalless stalemate in the other Bulange group.
Busujju played Mawokota, Busiro and Ssese while Buvuma locked horns with Kabula in Masengere Group match day five games as the three matches ended in a goalless draw.
