Uganda Cup winners Kitara FC have confirmed they will play another friendly match with Kenya’s Tusker FC on Thursday, 8th August in Masindi.
Tusker finished second on the Kenya Premier league table last season.
The contest against Tusker with the second international friendly for Kitara in preparation for their CAF Confederation Cup game against Libya’s Al Hilal SC Benghazi.
Kitara’s first international friendly game was away to Ethiopia’s Mechal SC ending in a 2-0 victory for the Brian Ssenyondo coached side at Addis Ababa Stadium in July.
Meanwhile, Kitara will first play KCCA FC in the FUFA Super 8 quarterfinal return leg on Tuesday at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
Tusker FC is the new home for former Wakiso Giants left back George Kaddu and Boban Zirintusa.
Tusker FC is the second most successful club in Kenya with thirteen Kenyan league championships. They also have four Kenyan cup trophies in addition, it has won four East African CECAFA Clubs Cup trophies.
