Midfielder Emmanuel Alex Wasswa has returned to Express FC on a one year contract after leaving KCCA FC.
Wasswa has parted ways with KCCA FC, a side he joined in 2022 from rivals SC Villa.
The versatile midfielder enjoyed an impressive first round of last season with Express following a loan move from Lugogo.
He played 13 Uganda Premier League games and scored four goals for the Red Eagles.
Wasswa is expected to be an instrumental player at Express heading into a new season after the club lost close to 10 players at the end of the previous campaign.
He is expected to be part of the Express FC team that will face Kenya’s AFC Leopards in an international friendly game to be held at Nakivubo next week.
The Red Eagles have embarked on a rebuilding process following a very disastrous and disappointing end last season.
Besides KCCA and SC Villa, Wasswa also previously played for Ndejje University FC in the Uganda Premier League during the 2018/19 season.
