Uganda Cranes attacker Travis Mutyaba has part ways with Egyptian Giants Zamalek SC.
Swift Sports Uganda understands Mutyaba and his representatives have requested for a contract termination two months.
According to sources Mutyaba has a juicy offer from a top European club and that’s why him and his representatives opted for a termination.
Zamalek currently have a transfer ban and they are not allowed to make transfer businesses, so a termination was the best option for Mutyaba in the bid to secure a move to Europe.
Mutyaba joined Zamalek on a four and half year employment contract after leaving record Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa.
He became the first Ugandan player to win the CAF Confederation Cup after Zamalek SC edged RS Berkane on away goals rule in the final that was played in May this year.
The 2023/24 Egyptian Premier league campaign will officially conclude on 18th August, Zamalek are third on the table.
