Kenya Premier League side Shabana FC have signed Ugandan midfielder Sam ‘Tio’ Kintu on a two year contract.
Kintu featured for UPDF FC in the Uganda Premier League last season.
He scored one goal (against BUL FC at Bombo) in the 14 games he played as UPDF raced to safety.
Kintu previously played for Express FC, Proline FC, Gaddafi FC and the now defunct Kira Young.
His new side Shabana FC finished 14th on the Kenya Premier League table last season.
The club, also nicknamed the Glamour Boys, will be aiming for a possible respectable finish in the upcoming 2024/25 season.

The club currently hosts league games from the Gusii Stadium located in Kisii County.
Last season, defender Rogers Aloro was the only Ugandan player at the club but recently left as a free agent.
