URA FC defender Hudu Mulikyi will continue with the club after apologizing to the management, technical team and FUFA judicial body.
Mulikyi had agreed to join 13-time Uganda Premier league champions KCCA FC as a free agent this transfer window before it was established that he had a running contract with the tax collectors until 2026.
“I extend my sincerest apologies to the URA FC management, technical team and the FUFA judicial body for my recent actions that brought disrepute to the club. I fully acknowledge my mistake in denying the existing contractual obligations. I deeply regret any inconvenience and negative impact my actions may have caused. Moving forward, I am committed to working diligently and serving the club to the best of my abilities. I appreciate the opportunity to make amends and contribute positively to URA FC.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.” Reads an apology from Mulikyi
