Paidha Black Angels have appointed Ibrahim Kyobe as their new head coach ahead of the forthcoming FUFA Big League.
Kyobe has been appointed on a two year employment contract.
He will work with Robert Kafeero alias Kapero as his immediate assistant.
Kyobe has previously served in the capacity of assistant coach at Gomba in the prestigious Buganda Masaza Cup at Gomba in 2004, 2008, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Besides Gomba, Kyobe also worked as assistant coach at Buluuli in 2011, Buwekula in 2012 and was among Ibrahim Kirya’s assistants at Buddu in 2022 and last year at Bulemeezi.
Paidha Black Angels SC are currently boosting their squad ahead of the 2024/2025 Big League season.
Paidha have already signed former KCCA FC and NEC striker Brian Kayanja.
They returned to the Big League after three years of absence.
Paidha Black Angels sealed promotion to the FUFA Big League after a 2-0 win over Northern Gateway in the second leg of the promotion playoff at the Bar Okoro Stadium in Zombo last month.
The Blacks were relegated from the Big League in the 2020/21 season after finishing bottom of the Elgon Group with only five points from 14 games played.
