Wakiso Giants have confirmed the signing of Tanzanian defender Issack Emanuel Mtengwa.
Mtengwa joins the Steven Bengo coached side on a season-long loan from Tanzanian Giants Young Africans.
He becomes the second Young Africans player to join the Purple Sharks this transfer window after Shaibu Mtita.
Wakiso have also boosted their squad with the acquisition of Josephat Ayebare, Hudson Mbalire, Vincent Zziwa, Eric Kabamba and Derrick Kaija.
Wakiso Giants finished 11th on the Uganda Premier league table with 32 points in 29 games they garnered.
The Purple Sharks will start their 2024/25 league campaign against Soltilo Bright Stars on 15th September at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
