Rwanda Premier League side Bugesera FC have completed the signing of Ugandan forward Jibril Badru Nsimbe on a two year contract.

Nsimbe left UPDF FC last month as his two year contract officially expired at the end of the previous season.

He was initially a transfer target for Stanbic Uganda Cup winners Kitara FC but negotiations did not materialize.

Nsimbe scored three goals last season in the 18 games he played and subsequently guided the army side to survive relegation.

He is also a former player of Masaka Secondary School and Masaka City FC as well as Masaza Cup giants Ssingo and Buddu.

Bugesera FC will be targeting for an improved season after surviving relegation on the last day of the previous campaign.

They kicked off their new 2024/25 season with a 1-1 draw with Amagaju FC last week on Thursday.
