Clive Kyazze has resigned from his role as the Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) General Secretary.
Kyazze revealed that he decided to step aside from his duties as General Secretary due to family issues.
“It is with a heavy heart that I write to you resigning from my position as the General Secretary of the Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA), effective immediately.” Reads part of the statement
“Due to a family emergency that requires my utmost attention and dedication over the next 12 months, I find it challenging to balance these responsibilities with my work and the duties entrusted to me at USPA.
I believe it is in the best interest of the association that I step aside to allow someone who can fully commit to the role during this period.”
He also noted that he will remain committed to the Association
“Please know that I remain deeply committed to USPA and would be honoured to serve the association in different capacities in the future if given the mandate.”
“I am confident that the association will continue to thrive, and I look forward to contributing to its success in any way I can when circumstances permit.”

Kyazze, working at Sanyu F.M and NTV Uganda was elected as General Secretary in 2022. Earlier this year, Grace Mbabazi who was serving as the Association Vice President resigned from the role to relocate in the United States.
