“This season, I don’t see any clear favourites for the title. I have always predicted Vipers to win the title in the previous campaigns but this season I can’t point to anyone.” Said Bbosa on NTV Omumuli

Gladys Zawedde (Swift Sports Uganda Writer and Kajjansi United CEO) believes URA FC will end their 14- year title drought

“URA FC has a squad that can compete with Alex Isabirye Musongola in charge they stand high chances of winning the title he has proved his worth in the past two seasons he is a coach who can squeeze results from any squad available.”

Ruben Luyombo (Senior Sports Journalist)

“The title race will not be different from last season and I expect usual suspects KCCA FC, Vipers SC, BUL FC and Kitara FC to massively challenge. For,
URA will need half a season to Gel but they might be the ones to determine who takes the trophy.”

Brian Kawalya (The Sports Nation) believes this could be Kitara’s chance for title glory basing on the way they have strengthened.

“For Kitara FC, this could be their best chance to claim the league title if it’s not now, it may never be.”

David Gombe (Writer with Swift Sports Uganda and Radio Sapientia)

“I do expect Kitara FC to be the team to win it this year. I think they’ve strengthened every department of their squad.”

“It’s not going to be easy, there’s going to be a lot of competition because the top seven or eight teams in country have all made significant signings.”

Ismail Dhakaba (Head of Sports Daily Monitor) has his faith in Vipers SC

“Vipers SC will win the title with BUL FC as their close challengers. Though their head coach Nikola Kavazovic might be sacked.”

Clive Kyazze (Sports Presenter at Sanyu FM and NTV Uganda)

“Of course my answer will be straight forward, KCCA FC will win the title in the forthcoming season for obvious reasons.”

Denis Kizito alias Deman Denol (Former Bunamwaya (now Vipers SC) player expects the title charge to be between three sides

“I expect Vipers SC, URA FC and KCCA FC to be the main challengers for the title. Kitara have recruited well but I don’t see them in the title race.” Said Deman Denol
