Striker Patrick Kaddu has joined Kitara FC on a one year contract, Swift Sports understands.
Kaddu has been a free agent after leaving Kenyan giants Gor Mahia at the end of the previous season.
The Uganda Cranes striker returns to Kitara FC having previously featured the club during the first round of the 2022/23 FUFA Big League season.
Kaddu scored 15 goals in the 15 games he played for Kitara and subsequently put the Royals in a pole position to clinch promotion to the UPL.
He has been signed as a direct replacement for Brian Aheebwa who recently joined Arba Minch City FC in Ethiopia.
Kaddu has previously played for KCCA FC, Maroons FC, Ismaily SC (Egypt) and Moroccan sides RS Berkane and Youssoufia Berrechid.
As earlier reported, Kitara are also set to sign former SC Villa offensive midfielder Umar Lutalo who is a free agent.
Kitara have also issued a statement on Denis Omedi’s status amidst a strong interest from KCCA FC.
Uganda’s primary transfer window will officially close on Thursday 19th September at midnight.
