Striker Joel Madondo has joined FUFA Big League side Busoga United, Swift Sports understands.
Madondo left BUL FC in June after his one year contract with the officially expired.
Madondo returns to Busoga United having previously featured the club until 2021 when he transferred to Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca.
He is expected to take on the club’s goal scoring burden left by Emmanuel Ajo who recently switched to NEC FC in a controversial transfer.
Besides Wydad Casablanca and BUL FC, Madondo has also previously played for Gaddafi FC on two stints as well as DTB FC in Tanzania.
He was part of the Uganda Cranes squad that won the 2019 CECAFA Championship under coach Johnathan McKinstry.
Busoga United embarked on new beginnings a fortnight ago after legally changing ownership to the community of Busoga.
