Soltilo Bright Stars host URA FC at Kavumba Recreation grounds with both sides targeting their first maximum points on match day two of the 2024-25 UPL season.
The hosts drew 1-1 with Wakiso Giants at Wakisha in the league opener while the Tax Collectors lost 1-0 to KCCA at Lugogo
Joseph Mutyaba is banking on the home advantage to maximise the points,
“It is our first home fixture this season and we shall be hoping to start on a high note, it will important for us to get the three points.”
He told the club’s official website.
URA FC coach Alex Isabirye is hopeful after rectifying the mistakes made away against KCCA and the boys’ determination to give the best maximum points are very possible,
“We have worked hard to correct the mistakes from the first game. The boys have responded well in training and I believe we are in a good position to bounce back. We are hopeful for maximum points tomorrow and will give it our best.”

Mutyaba’s charges will miss the services of David Kizza and Fiat Cleophus due to a muscle injury and malaria respectively.
URA FC
Shariph Kimbowa, Ibrahim Wammanah, Bright Joseph, James Begisa, Rodgers Omedwa and Justin Opiro are all ruled out due to injury.
Denis Kisiriko, Godfrey Ssekibengo, John Innocent Kisolo and Abdu Magada are in camp with the U20 national team.
Out of the last 17 meetings between the two sides, Soltilo Bright Stars have won three, URA seven and the other seven have ended in stalemates.
