The preliminary rounds of the CAF Champions League climaxed over the weekend with several African heavyweights progressing to the group stage.
The CAF Champions League Group stage draw will be conducted on Monday, 7th October in Cairo.
African heavyweights such as record competition winners Al Ahly (Egypt), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), TP Mazembe (DR Congo), Raja Casablanca (Morocco) all prevailed to the group stage.
Tanzanian Giants Young Africans were Uganda Cranes captain Khalid Aucho plays his football also cruised to the group stage. Al Hilal Omdurman (Sudan) are the other CECAFA team through to thr group stage.
