Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga officially unveiled their 18-player squad for the 2024/25 Finance Trust Women Super League season.
The Lubaga based club unveiled striker Nuluh Nakyanzi as the only new signing.
Nakyanzi returns after a successful stint with FCF Amani in DR Congo but previously played for Lady Doves and Asubo Ladies.
The lanky forward who also featured for Uganda Martyrs in 2016, is expected to bolster the club’s attacking force.
Uganda Martyrs also promoted four youngsters from the club’s junior side; Comfort Achulu, Halima Kizza, Hilda Nakirijja and Rashida Nakalema.
The club also had Sharon Kaidu, Brenda Munyana and Moureen Kiiza sign new contracts to extend their stay.
Sumayya Nalumu and Shamsa Najjuma left to join Kampala Queens while Kevin Nakacwa and Rebecca Nandhego joined She Corporate.
The club will be under the tutelage of Edward Ssozi Kasozi who will be deputized by Shafik Shagra Mutebi.
Uganda Martyrs partnered with Uganda Premier League side NEC FC and will be their female team for the next two season.
They will open their season with a duel against She Corporate this Saturday at NEC’s Bugolobi Grounds.
