Lugazi FC will be targeting their first points when they host six time league champions Vipers SC on Thursday at Najjembe Stadium in Lugazi.
Sadiq Sempigi coached side are winless in their opening league fixtures having lost 3-0 to Kitara and 1-0 to UPDF FC.
Sempigi is optimistic that his side will start picking points despite a horrible start to the campaign
“We are playing one of the strongest teams in the league and we want to start picking points, but we have prepared well and hopefully, we shall do well.”Said Sempigi
Against the Venoms, they will be taking their first points in their debut topflight division season.
Vipers SC will be seeking to keep momentum following their 3-0 home win against Express FC last win.
Before their comfortable victory against Express FC, Nikola Kavazovic’s men had lost their opening fixture 3-1 to NEC FC
Vipers Vice captain Allan Okello asserts that they are ready for the contest against Lugazi
