The organisers of the Fortebet Real Stars Sports monthly awards have confirmed the winners for the month of September.
At the awards ceremony held on Tuesday at Lazio Restaurant in Lugogo, Boxing, Woodball and Football were the sports disciplines that were awarded.

The organisers also recognized late Rally Driver Charles Muhangi with the Lifetime achievers’ award.
In Football, forward Herbert Asiimwe was named the best of the month for his astonishing performances for both Wakiso Giants and Buweekula in the topflight division and Masaza Cup.
He scored three goals in three matches he played for Wakiso Giants in September.

Asiimwe beat KCCA FC’s Saidi Mayanja and NEC FC midfielder Enock Ssebaggala to the accolade.
Isaac Ariho was named the best in Woodball after overcoming Alfred Nsabimana and Joyce Nalubega.
Ariho helped Uganda Prisons win the third consecutive Woodball league trophy only losing once in seven games he played in September.
He also beat Fred Turyakira of Prisons 7-0 and also teamed with Abednego Okello to beat KIU’s pair of Bruno Sekidde and Timothy Suuna 5-1.
Herbert Matovu clinched the Boxing gong and beat Matovu Ukasha and Owen Kibira.

Matovu won the heavyweight African Boxing Union Regional title beating Tanzania’s Kheri Mbaruku last month.
The Lifetime achievers’ award was rewarded to the late Charles Muhangi who played a vital role in Motorsport as a rally driver.
Patience Muhangi, the widow to the late Charles Muhangi received the accolade at the awards’ ceremony.

All the winners were rewarded with accolades and cash prizes courtesy of main sponsors Fortebet and Jude Color solutions.
