New Uganda Premier league side Lugazi FC have part ways with head coach Sadick Sempigi after just four games in charge.
The development was confirmed by the club CEO Sulait Abdul Swamadu in a statement released on Friday.
“Lugazi FC and head coach Sadick Sempigi have mutually part ways. We would like to express our gratitude to Sempigi for his tireless efforts and services during the time we have been together and wish him all the very best in future endeavors.”
Sempigi was appointed as Lugazi FC head coach at the start of the season.
During his time, he has been in charge of the side for five games, losing three and drawing twice.
His final game at the helms was the 1-1 home stalemate with Mbale Heroes FC on Tuesday.
Oliver Mbekeka who has been serving as Sempigi’s assistant has been named on an interim basis as the search for a new head coach continues.
