Following a successful first edition of the Uganda Corporate Boxing experience between Shakib Lutaaya and JK Kazoora, the second edition was also officially launched on Tuesday at Paradise Fitness Gym.
Lutaaya won the first edition in a fight that was held earlier this month in Lugogo.
The second edition will see actresses Fauzia Nakiboneka and Lorah Ndagire lock horns at the event scheduled for 9th November at Lugogo Indoor.
Nakiboneka who has spent close to two decades in drama has promised her fans and the boxing fraternity fireworks.
“I take this opportunity to thank the Uganda Boxing Federation President Moses Muhangi for staging this event. I was born in a family that l loved sports and all my life have been a sports woman.”
Lorah is a princess and I think she can’t beat me in a Boxing contest, I am the empress and I know that I will emerge victorious.” Said Nakiboneka
Her opponent, Ndagire also remains optimistic ahead of the contest
“I am so grateful to the Federation for this opportunity. When they gave me Fauzia, I said I can manage that one. We are going to show more about fitness during our fight. I call upon the corporate world to support the sport of Boxing
“Fauzia is a queen on TV, on stage and drama but I am the champion. So, I assure my fans that victory is in our hands.” Said Ndagire
Both actresses believe it’s important for the Corporate world to share the audience with the Ghetto in a bid to lift Boxing as a sport in the country.
The Corporate Boxing experience is organized by the Uganda Boxing Federation and TopBoy Promotions.
