For a third consecutive game, reigning Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa surrendered a lead during their 1-1 stalemate at Maroons FC on Thursday.
The stalemate increased pressure on SC Villa head coach Morley Byekwaso whose side remains winless on the road this term.
They have also gone three games without registering victory following a 2-1 defeat against Vipers SC and 2-2 draw with Soltilo Bright Stars.
At Luzira, David Owori fired the visitors into an early lead with a sensational free kick in the 8th minute that beat Maroons custodian Simon Tamale.
Just like again Vipers and Bright Stars, the champions failed to hold on to their lead with Jackson Nunda levelling matters for the home side in the 76th minute.
Following the stalemate, SC Villa move to eight points and four adrift of leaders NEC FC while Maroons FC are 11th with six points.
Maroons next face KCCA FC while SC Villa will entertain UPDF FC who drew with URA FC on Thursday.
