Police FC head coach Matia Lule has poured praise on his team after they managed a 2-0 victory over Mbarara City at Kavumba Recreation grounds.
Augustin Kacancu and Umar Kasumba scored the two goals that gave Lule’s side all the three point as he handled his first game with The Cops.
“We thank God for today’s victory, credit goes to the entire team for their hard work and efforts. This win is not a one man effort.”
“I only had to remind the players about the responsibilities and this helped everyone give the best hence the desired results.”
Lule believes if they continue training hard, results will continue coming,
“If we continue training with these boys I believe we are to achieve the best. We are not so safe so we have to double our efforts so that we win our next games.”
Police FC are 12th on the table with 26 points from 23 games, they play BUL FC next on Wednesday 16th at the FUFA Technical Center Njeru.
