Vipers SC reveal when Allan Okello is expected to play his first game

Vipers SC have confirmed that new signing Allan Okello will be out for the first round of the season due to a knee Injury.

The club revealed that Okello may not undergo surgery and scans showed that his Anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus are all fine but wounds in the cartilage are being treated.

The former KCCA FC and AC Paradou attacker expected to be back in action at the start of the second round.

Meanwhile, Erick Kenzo Kambale who also joined the Venoms in the concluded transfer window will miss the game against Mbarara due to fitness issues but is expected to be available against SC Villa after the international break.

Ghananian striker Fumador Asiwome and Hilary Mukundane will also miss the game against Mbarara City due to respective injuries.

Fumador is out due to a strain issue while Mukundane damaged his Posterior Cruciate ligament and will be out for four weeks.

The Venoms have won both of their league opening two league against Gaddafi FC and Arua Hill respectively.

They will taken on Wasswa Bbosa’s Mbarara City who are yet to maximize points this term on Tuesday at Kakyeka Stadium.
