UPDF aim for 3rd home win as inconsistent URA visit

UPDF FC will target to keep their impressive home form when they host inconsistent URA FC at Bombo Military Barracks grounds on Thursday 24th-October.

The Army side come into this game after playing to a barren draw with KCCA at Lugogo while URA lost 1-0 to BUL FC at Nakivubo.

UPDF have won all the two games they have so far played at home. They beat Wakiso Giants 1-0 and debutants Lugazi FC.

Coach Paul Kiwanuka who has a full squad for this encounter expects positive results relying on their home run so far this season,

“We are not thinking about our performance in the previous tie, we have just prepared a squad ready enough to play URA FC. All the players are fully fit for selection.”

The Tax Collectors will miss out the services of Ismail Mugulusi and Hudu Mulikyi but will welcome back Abdu Magada, Godfrey Sekibengo, Denis Kisiriko and John Innocent Kisolo from National team engagements.

UPDF occupy fifth position with eight points while URA is seventh with seven points.
