Kitara FC 1-3 BUL FC

Kitara FC suffered a humbling 3-1 defeat to BUL FC at Butema, marking one of the worst performances for the Royals under Brian Ssenyondo.

Martin Aprem and Walter Ochora early goals and another from second half substitute Dickson Matama saw BUL register a second consecutive win following their 1-0 win at URA FC on match day five.

For Kitara it was a third successive home defeat and it highlighted the Royals ongoing struggles this season.

Arthur Kiggundu netted the hosts only goal of the contest as they remain winless since their opening fixture at Lugazi.

Aprem gave the visitors an early lead in the second minute of the game before Ochora doubled their lead seven minutes later.

Kiggundu pulled one back for the home side in the 28th minute.

BUL went into halftime breather leading 2-1.

Matama put the cherry on the icing on the cake with the third in the 74th minute.

The result leaves Kitara’s beleaguered coach searching for mitigation, the smiling faces of counterparts Abdallah Mubiru, Hussein Mbalangu and John Ayala Luyinda only serve to make his situation worse.

Some Kitara faithfuls believe coaches don’t always need time; they just need to be able to win.

Kitara will continue the search for a second league win this term away to URA FC next Friday while BUL FC will host Soltilo Bright Stars on Tuesday.
