Anaku in contention as unbeaten KCCA eye table leadership against Maroons

KCCA FC will be aiming to keep their fine start to the season when they host Maroons FC on Thursday under the floodlights of Lugogo.

The Kasasiro Boys are the only unbeaten team in the league this term.

They have managed four wins and two draws in the previous six games they have played this season.

Abdallah Mubiru coached side have also kept five clean sheets in six games and they last conceded a goal away to BUL FC on match day two.

Victory against Maroons will see KCCA FC move to the summit of the league.

Maroons FC have had a mixed start to the season and have only managed just a point away from home in the two games they have played.

They are currently 13th on the log with six points, having registered one win, three draws and lost two.

New signing Sadat Anaku is in contention to feature for the hosts after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Midfielder Joel Sserunjogi is suspended due to card accumulation while skipper Julius Poloto is out with a hamstring injury.

Derrick Nsibambi, Peter Magambo and Emmanuel Anyama are the other notable absentees.
