Kitara FC registered their first home win of the season with a comfortable 4-0 win over UPDF FC in Hoima on Friday.

Besides their maiden home win, Kitara FC had a horrendous start to the season that saw the club part ways with their head Brian Ssenyondo who was replaced by Wasswa Bbosa.

Bbosa also didn’t have a perfect start to his Kitara reign losing to URA FC and Soltilo Bright Stars before the international break.

On their return home, Bbosa and his charges put up a superb first half performance scoring three goals in the first 45 minutes, thanks to goals from Fred Amaku and brace from Kabon Living.

Amaku fired the home side into the lead with a well struck penalty in the 14th minute before Kabon’s brace.

George Ssenkaaba put the cherry on the icing of the cake scoring the third in the second half.

This was Kitara’s second win of the season following their opening day victory at Lugazi.

Before Friday’s victory, Kitara had lost six and registered just draw in their previous seven matches.

Victory takes Kitara FC to seven points in nine games and move from the bottom to 13th place.

UPDF FC remain 7th on 12 points they have garnered in nine games this term.
