The organisers of the prestigious Fortebet Real Stars monthly Awards have rewarded the outstanding performers for the month of November at event held at Lazio Restaurant in Lugogo on Tuesday.
The winners were from Football, Cricket, Motorsport and Rugby.
Veteran Journalist Hassan Badru Zziwa was rewarded with the Life Achievers award for his works towards the sports industry.
Zziwa who served at Daily Monitor began his journalism works in 1992. He is a Co-founder of the Observer Newspaper also works at CBS FM in Mengo.

SC Villa striker Charles Lwanga was named as the best football player of November.

Lwanga is currently the Uganda Premier league top scorer with seven goals. During the month of November he scored six goals.
He beat Vipers SC duo of Milton Karisa and Allan Okello who were also in fine form.
Henry Ssenyondo won the Cricket accolade of November following his impressive performances for the Cricket Cranes at the ICC Challenge League B first round in Entebbe. He managed 11 wickets for the Cricket Cranes.
To scoop the accolade, Ssenyondo overcame Riazat Ali Shah and Dinesh Nakrani.
Lydia Namabiro won the Rugby award after finishing as the Lady Rugby Cranes top scorer at the Africa Women’s Sevens in Accra where she scored 11 trys.

At the same tournament, the Rugby Cranes finished as bronze medallists to qualify for the 2025 Challenge series. Namabiro beat her teammates Peace Lekurh and Grace Auma.
Meanwhile, Jas Mangat won the Rally accolade following his Hoima Kabalega Rally triump that secure his fourth National Rally Championship.
He beat Ronald Ssebuguzi and Dr.Moustapha Mukasa to the November gong.
The winners were rewarded with cash prizes and winners accolades courtesy of main sponsors Fortebet and Jude Color solutions.
