The Inaugural Edition of the Mountain Uganda Dew 3×3 basketball championship climaxed on Saturday at Hockey Grounds in Lugogo.
St Noa Girls and Cole World were the inaugural champions in ladies and men categories respectively.
Before the grand finale, the tournament was played in Kampala, Gulu, Mukono, Mbale, Mbarara and Jinja.
St Noa beat 3-Peat in the final with a score of 16-11 to become the Inaugural winners of the championship and also walked away with Shs2M, courtesy of Mountain Dew.
3-Peat also smiled with one Million shillings for finishing as runners up.
Cole World won the men’s category, beating VBL 16-14 in the final and they took home two million shillings for their triumph.
Meanwhile, St Noa Girls’ duo of Nanangwe Resty and Namayanja Bushira named the best rebounder and MVP of the ladies’ category respectively.
Lamunu Sheila finished as the top scorer in the ladies category.
The best rebounder (Men) was Mabor William ,Top Scorer (Men) Thon Marial and the MVP was Muganzi Daniel.
