The organisers of the Fortebet Real Stars Monthly Awards have awarded the best sports personalities of the month of November.
The winners who came from six sports disciplines were awarded at Lazio Restaurant in Kololo on Tuesday.
Cricket Cranes captain Brian Masaba was named the best Cricketer of the month.
Masaba was instrumental for the Cricket Cranes as they sealed a place in next year’s T20 Cricket World Cup due in West Indies and USA. He beat his teammates Alphesh Ramjan and Denish Nakrani to the gong.
In Boxing, Ssemuddu clinched the accolade following his entertaining fight against Zebra Ssenyange Jr in the Boxing Champions league last month.
He beat Swalik Kisiru and Farahat Manilola who also impressed last month.
Nelson Senkatuka was named as the best footballer of November.
The Bright Stars’ forward was in fine form last month netting a hat trick against Arua Hill. He beat SC Villa duo of Ronald Ssekiganda and Norman Angufindru.
Peace Lekuru walked away with the Rugby gong beating Aaron Ofoyrwoth (2023 Safari Sevens MVP) and Ivan Magomu who impressed at the Victoria Cup Final.
Ceaser Chandiga the 2023 National Men’s pool open champion excelled with the Pool gong. He beat Women National champion Rukia Nayiga and Azali Lukomwa.
In Basketball, City Oilers’ Titus Lual Odeke overcame his teammates Fayed Bbaale and Tonny Drilebba to the November award. The trio were instrumental in guiding City Oilers to the final tournament of BAL.
