Gaddafi FC 3-0 Busoga United

Gaddafi FC cruised to a 3-0 win over Busoga United in the only Big League game played on Tuesday at the Entebbe Works Ground.

Samuel Kawawa Junior, skipper Thomas Kakaire and second half substitute Jonathan Mbula scored for the Allan Kabonge coached side.

Kawawa, formerly at Kaaro Karungi, struck first to break the deadlock in the 34th minute and subsequently gave Gaddafi a deserved lead.

Kakaire doubled the lead in the 80th minute with an exquisite shot before Mbula put the icing on the cake with a penalty in the 89th minute.

The comprehensive victory elevated Gaddafi to the top of the table having garnered 20 points, same as second placed Blacks Power who have played a game more.

Busoga United remained second from the bottom having accumulated only eight points from the 11 games played.

The former Uganda Premier League side managed only one victory (a 1-0 over Ntungasaze a week ago), drew five times and lost the other five.

Gaddafi are on a four match winning streak having beaten Buhimba Saints United, MYDA FC and Ntungasaze before seeing off Busoga United.
