Former Vipers SC and SC Villa forward Pius Wangi is expected to leave Kenyan Premier league side Kakamega Homeboyz FC at the end of the season.
Wangi will be out of contract in June when his one year employment contract with the Kenyan outfit expires.
He joined Kakamega Homeboyz at the start of this campaign as a free agent following his departure at Uganda Premier league side Mbarara City FC.
He has previously featured for Vipers SC before joining SC Villa and Rwanda’s Sunrise FC.
He has scored two league goals. One against Tusker (2-2) and another against Talanta (1-0). Both came in the first round of the season.
Kakamega are currently fourth on the Kenyan Premier league table with 54 points they have garnered in 32 games. They have won 14, draw 12 and lost six games so far this term.
They beat Kariobangi Sharks 2-0 in their previous league game and will next visit Bidco United and Tusker in their final games of the season.
The club founded 14 years ago and host their home games at the 30000 seater Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.
